All About Eve Climbs to No. 1 on its 5th Night

After a dismal pilot episode, the Philippine remake of the koreanovela “All About Eve” climbed to no. 1 in Mega Manila last Friday beating erstwhile leader Totoy Bato.

The new GMA series is topbilled by Sunshine Dizon, Iza Calzado, Mark Anthony Fernandez and Alfred Vargas. It debuted in the primetime block last March 9, 2009 registering 26.1%, the second lowest pilot episode of a GMA primetime series in years.
The weekend ratings in Mega Manila, on the other hand, were opposite of the nationwide survey. All no. 1 programs last weekend were from the kapuso network namely Eat Bulaga and Kapuso Mo Jessica Soho last Saturday; and SOP and Mel and Joey last Sunday.
